Being part of the Laing Middle School Band is more than just learning to play an instrument—it’s about discovering your talent, performing with pride, and making lifelong memories with your friends.

One of the biggest highlights of our band program comes every year when our 7th and 8th graders travel to Orlando, Florida for an unforgettable music adventure! Students have the opportunity to participate in band competitions or workshops at Walt Disney World or Universal Studios, performing in front of professional adjudicators and learning from world-class clinicians.

Beyond the music, the trip is four days of pure excitement—riding roller coasters, exploring the parks, and spending time with friends and teachers who share your love for music. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that brings our band family even closer together.
